Organisers are keen to hear about communities going the extra mile to get people active.

Deborah Sage, Head of Communications, for Babergh and Mid Suffolk Councils has supplied the following information on the forthcoming move to their new headquarters.

Framlingham, first Town Council to achieve Quality Local Council Award Scheme

Presented by Philip Hayes, chairman of the Suffolk Association of Local Councils, the award is only the third achieved in the county and the first for a town council.

Section 137 Expenditure Limit for 2017-18

The Department for Communities and Local Government has confirmed that the appropriate sum for parish councils for the purposes of section 137 (4) (a) of the Local Government Act 1972 ("the 1972 Act") for 2017-2018 is £7.57.
